Below is a sampling of hundreds of works that I painted from 1985 to the present, not for the purpose of producing products to show or sell, but in order to use the medium as a vehicle for expressive freedom. Once introduced to this process of painting without censoring or judging, it began for me a way to delve unrestrained into life’s mysteries. I can go anywhere, touch the dark, the forbidden, the sacred; create new realities through the vehicle of painting, and explore and reinvent the stories that are my life. The concepts of talent and good versus bad art can be shed in favor of invention, curiosity, intuition, and my inner voice that says, “Go ahead... paint that!”
